Artist's Comments
This was drawn to show my (not so) varied style when it comes to drawing characters.
These characters aren't based on anyone or anything. I just drew them out of the blue on different sheets of paper at different times in the past few days. They don't have names/stories/etc. I was trying to lean away from the anime-ish style a little. Trying to make them more cartoony and stylized. I don't have an exceptionally anime-ish style anyway, but it's just close enough so I was just trying this out. X3 Anyway, let me know ifyou like one more than the rest or something. I personally like the short, squat, Asian-looking woman with the newspaper and cig in her mouth. I dunno why- she just looks like she's got a lot of stories to tell about keeping kids off her lawn or something. EDIT-- Sorry it's so light.. These are only sketches! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
